'Psst...your about to be a dad.'
'Whaah!'
'Yeah, your about to go into the OR, your baby girl is gonna be here any second!'
'Coffee?'
'Snap out of it, man!'
'How'd you get in here and...and why do you look like me?'
So there I was in the scrubs room, waiting for someone to come get me and take me to the OR where Regan was already being prep'd.
Minutes go by and nothing. This 'waiting room' was the size of a closet, no windows just a tiny bathroom to the side. which was the size of a litter box. It did have a shower in it, though. And there was one of those plastic lawn chairs in it. It's just striking my now how weird that was. Why was there a plastic lawn chair in the shower? Maybe the previous About-To-Be was gonna pass out, so they shoved him in there.
Nurses: 'Get the Plastic Lawn Chair!, we gotta another squimish one on our hands!'
'Sir! sit in the plastic lawn chair, turn the shower on and pretend you are in the backyard drinking a beer with the sprinkler running.'
Not this guy, did no need a plastic chair. Just my camera cause I got a little anxious. It seemed like I was in there forever. Just enough time to take too many pictures of myself pretending to be a doctor.

i love that while you're entertaining yourself in the closet-shower, regan's going into labor. i'd like imagine her just to the right of the shot yelling, "geoff! but that *expletive* camera down and get over here!"
